NORWAY – Marie C. Corneliusen, 93, of Norway, died March 5.

She was born in Beverly, Mass., Sept. 15, 1914, the daughter of Oscar and Magda Johnson. She was a graduate of Beverly High School and Pierce Secretarial School, Boston, Mass.

She worked for several years as a secretary in the executive offices of the New England Tel. & Tel. Co. in Boston. She married Robert R. Corneliusen on June 7, 1941, in Beverly and lived in East Derry, N.H., where they owned and operated Apple Hill Farm, raising fruit for many years.

While in East Derry, she was an active member of the First Parish Church, East Derry. She moved to Norway in 1982, after her husband’s death in 1982.

She was a member of the Second Congregational Church, Norway, the Browning Reading Club and a volunteer at the Oxford Hills Food Pantry for 20 years.

She is survived by a son, Philip R. Corneliusen and wife, Cheryl, of Norway; three grandchildren, Todd Corneliusen and wife, Maria, of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Heather Pike and husband, Arlo, of Buxton and Joel Corneliusen and fiancee, Lisa Willette, of Medford, Mass.; one great-granddaughter, Allison Pike, and one great-grandson, Arlo Pike III of Buxton.

She was predeceased by a son, Peter S. Corneliusen.
