Air Force Senior Master Sgt. David W. Blais has retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than 25 years of military service.

Prior to retiring, Blais served as the anti-terrorism force protection program manager at the 3rd Wing, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska.

Blais is the son of Gerard and Ann Blais of Roxbury. In 1978 he graduated from Dirigo High School, Dixfield, and received an associate degree in 1990 from the Community College of the Air Force, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Ala. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2002 from Wayland Baptist University, Plainview, Texas.
