CALAIS – Four Farmington area wrestlers shone brightly in the Down East Wrestling Club tournament over the weekend.

Tyler Craig was voted by the participating coaches in attendance as Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament for grades six and under. Craig, a fifth-grader at Cascade Brooks School, placed first in the Grades 5-6, 63-pound division.

Cody Craig, who attends third grade at Mallett School, won the 55-pound division for third and fourth-grade competitors.

Cape Cod Hill School first-grader Hayden Nile placed took top honors in the 50-pound division of his age bracket, first and second-grade.

Cody Osborne, second-grader at Mallett, was fourth in his 62-pound class.

All four kids are first-year wrestlers and have competed in many tournaments this season. They participate in the growing Farmington Area youth wrestling program headed by coach Bob O’Connor and assisted by Bob Craig, Justin Nile and Seth Trahan.
