Network meeting

RUMFORD – A Community Networking Meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, will be held at noon Wednesday, April 23, at the Rumford Public Library.

Rich Allen, president of the River Valley Growth Council and treasurer of the River Valley Tech Center, will speak about the accomplishments of both organizations.

Other agenda items include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.

The meetings are open to the public as a way of connecting people and organizations living and working in the River Valley area.

Andover Church

ANDOVER – The First Congregational Church of Andover will hold its annual birthday supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Christian Education Building, Elm Street. Roast pork with all the fixings will be served. Dessert will be decorated birthday cakes representing each month of the year.

Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children under 12. Proceeds will benefit the Larry and Carol Yates family and all are welcome.
