NEWINGTON, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire authorities have identified the scuba diver who died over the weekend as 58-year-old Thomas Dionne of Stratham.
Dionne and a friend were diving off Nannie’s Island on Sunday. New Hampshire Marine Patrol officers say they got a distress call at about 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, Dionne’s friend was attempting to revive him.
Dionne was taken to a hospital where he died.
The other diver was not hurt.
