AUBURN – Most local golf courses are either still making preseason preparations or have been open for about a week, but Fox Ridge Golf Club already has produced the first hole-in-one of the 2008 season.
Alan Lipman of Augusta did the honors Thursday, using a sand wedge to ace the 113-yard No. 13. Adrian Fournier was Lipemna’ playing partner and witness.
Wilson Lake now open
WILTON – Wilson Lake Country Club is open for the season. Please call 645-2016 to check on cart availability.
The women’s Monday Night Golf League is open to members and non-members. Start date is scheduled for late May and will be announced soon.
Tournament schedule for 2008 is available in the clubhouse. The first tournament is the Kickoff Scramble on Sunday, May 18.
Fairlawn members meeting announced
