SANDY RIVER PLANTATION – Franklin County sheriff’s deputies are investigating two burglaries at seasonal homes that are believed to have occurred within the past week.

A break-in at a Main Street home was reported Sunday, Lt. Niles Yeaton said.

Entry was gained through a small kitchen window and several bottles of liquor were taken valued at about $50, he said.

The camp was rifled through but it appears only the liquor was missing, he added.

Another burglary is being investigated on Beech Hill Road, he said. Information is still being gathered in that case.
