The eight squads who will vie for the 2008 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Team Championship practiced Monday at Bates College’s Wallach Tennis Center in preparation for Tuesday’s quarterfinals.

Quarterfinal matchups will pit Emory University (17-6) against Kenyon College (25-1) at 9 a.m., Middlebury College (17-5) against the University of Mary Washington (22-6) at 12 noon, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (25-7) against Williams College (17-3) at 3 p.m., and Washington University of St. Louis (18-4) against Gustavus Adolphus College (30-5) at 6 p.m.

The semifinals will take place Wednesday, with the championship and third-place matches taking place Thursday.
