Amanda C. Law, daughter of David and Linda Law of Dixfield, received recognition at the University of New England’s annual awards ceremony on April 22 at Decary Hall, Biddeford.

She was presented the Student Affairs Award.

A 2004 graduate of Dirigo High School, Law is a major in medical biology/pre-physicians assistant with a minor in chemistry and is involved at the university in field hockey, orientation adviser, leader scholar mentoring and volunteers at Southern Maine Medical Center.
