NORTH YARMOUTH – Maine Handicapped Skiing, a year round adaptive recreation program based at Sunday River, is hosting a “First Swing” golf event in collaboration with the National Amputee Golf association. The clinic will be held June 2. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with events running from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maine Handicapped Skiing welcomes therapists, golf professionals and current MHS volunteers to join in the all day event. Bob Wilson, executive director of the National Amputee Golf Association, will conduct the seminar.

The afternoon Learn to Golf Clinic will give those who attended the morning session an opportunity to put into practice the skills and techniques presented in the seminar while working with individuals with a variety of disabilities.
