AUBURN – Aaron Allen scored on Shane Curtis’ fielder’s choice in the bottom of the seventh inning as St. Dom’s edged Cape Elizabeth 1-0 in WMC baseball action Wednesday.

Willy Emerson gave up three hits and walked none in 75 pitches, striking out five batters in seven innings. Allen’s triple led the Saints’ (10-1) offensive efforts.

Cony 6, Edward Little 3

AUGUSTA – Garret Lucas ripped a two-run double in the fourth inning to lift Cony to a 6-3 victory over Edward Little.

Charlie Partridge led the Rams (9-3) with two hits and two RBIs, while Lucas tallied two hits. Ryan Minoty scattered six hits in seven innings to notch the win.

Eric Prue led the Red Eddies (7-5) with two hits and one RBI, while starter Adam Lutz was tagged with the loss.

Monmouth 12, Madison 3

MONMOUTH – Mack Tozier smacked a solo homer to lead off the fourth as Monmouth recorded a 12-3 win over Madison.

Ronnie Hobson hit a two-run triple and also had a double, while Jeremy Ashlock hit an RBI triple for the Mustangs (7-3). Derek Gray recorded the win with six strike outs.

Tucker Freeman blasted a bases-clearing triple in the first inning to tally all the runs for Madison.

Livermore Falls 13, Boothbay 0

BOOTHBAY – Derek Castonguay scattered five hits in five innings while his teammates continued their ofensive hot streak as Livermore Falls rolled to a 13-0 victory over Boothbay.

Jake Marceau led the Andies (10-2) with three hits and four RBIs, highlighted by a three-run home run in the fifth inning. Willy Brown also smashed a two-run homer for Livermore in the seven-run fifth.

Kevin Gats and Josh Tainter contributed for the Andies with two hits apiece.

Oxford Hills 10, Leavitt 0

SOUTH PARIS – Dillon Trundy hit a single, a double, and a triple, and collected an RBI, as Oxford Hills blanked Leavitt 10-0 in five innings.

Matt Verrier smacked a triple, while Ryan Yates and Nigel Cromwell each hit doubles for the Vikings (5-7). Yates earned the win, tossing a one-hitter and striking out five batters. Evan Barker had the lone hit for the Hornet (2-10).

Dirigo 5, Jay 4

JAY – Eric Bolduc scored the game-winning run on a fielder’s choice in the top of the eighth to give Dirigo the 5-4 triumph over Jay.

Bolduc reached on a walk and got to third off a double by Derek Daley for the eventual run. Aaron Fenstermacher smacked an RBI double and also struck out eight batters to earn the win for Dirigo (11-1).

Nick Bourassa hit a pair of doubles, while Austin Clark added a double for the Tigers (6-6).

Telstar 7, Carrabec 4

BETHEL – Andy Whitney drove in the tying run and also scored what would prove to be the winning run on a wild pitch to lead Telstar to a 7-4 win over Carrabec.

With his team trailing by run, Ryan Hannigan walked and then stole second before Whitney singled and scored Hannigan to tie the game for the Rebels (3-7).

Mike Fleet was the winning pitcher, giving up just one hit and fanning eight.

Winslow 20, Oak Hill 7

WINSLOW – James Wood had three hits and five RBIs to lead Winslow to a 20-7 rout over Oak Hill.

Scott Siviski contributed for the Black Raiders (6-5) with five hits and three RBIs, while Joey McLean belted two hits with one RBI.

The Raiders (4-6) were paced by Zach Plourde with two hits, while starter Chris Ellis was saddled with the loss.

Lisbon 13, Hall-Dale 3

LISBON – Mike unterkoefler had three hits and drove in two runs to lead Lisbon’s 14-hit attack in a 13-3 rout of Hall-Dale in a game stopped after five innings.

Marcus Bubar added two hits and two RBIs for the Greyhounds (8-3). Kyle Neagle, Frank Angelico and Andy Ouellette also had two hots apiece for Lisbon. Pitcher Tyler Brown scattered three hits and struck out eight batters, losing his shutout in the final inning. Hall-Dale falls to 7-4.

Lacrosse

St. Dom’s 15, Noble 7

AUBURN – Trevor Haefele led all players with four goals and six assists as St. Dom’s posted a 15-7 win over Noble.

Matt Adams and Ben Adams each tallied three goals apiece, whiel Andrew Gwarjanski and Jon Mulderig scored a pair of goals. Matt Barlion rounded out the scoring effort for the Saints (5-3).
