SOUTH PARIS – Alevia Bradley scattered five hits and received adequate run support as Leavitt rolled to a 2-0 victory over Oxford Hills in a KVAC softball tilt Wednesday.
Megam Milled led the Hornets with two hits, while Liz Sabine belted a triple in the sixth inning.
Leavitt scored both runs on errors by the Vikings (7-5) in a contest that the teams combined for 10. Kristy Jurczak struck out 10 for Oxford Hills.
Jay 17, Dirigo 8
JAY – Emily Boivin and Jeanetta Shank each smacked two-run doubles as Jay defeated Dirigo 17-8 in an MVC softball matchup.
Boivin was the lone repeat hitter of the game with a single to go along with her double. Shortstop Brittany Dipompo, outfielder Devanna Flagg and third baseman Shank all had solid performances defensively to insure the Tigers’ win.
Lewiston 13, Mt. Ararat 1
TOPSHAM – Mariah Conway hit a two-run single during a seven-run outburst in the seventh inning as Lewiston pulled away late for a 13-1 triumph over Mt. Ararat.
Maria Labbe contributed with an RBI double, and later scored a run, while Erica Morin had three hits, including an RBI double.
Danielle Willey picked up the win on the mound for the Blue Devils (10-2) with her solid pitching effort, limiting Mt. Ararat to just four hits.
Telstar 33, Carrabec 0
BETHEL – Candace Hall fanned 10 batters and pitched a no-hitter as Telstar shut out Carrabec with a commanding 33-0 score in five innings Wednesday.
Leadoff hitter Josie Reiss drove in six runs for Rebels (9-1). Abby Hutchins blasted a bases-loaded triple and also hit a double, while Julia Stambolis smacked two doubles. Together, the Nos. 3 and 4 hitters combined for 10 runs. Evan Thornton had a two-run triple in the win as well.
Monmouth 2, Madison 1
MONMOUTH – Kelsey Hilton belted an RBI double in the sixth inning to lift Monmouth to a 2-1 victory over Madison in a late-season MVC softball matchup.
Moe Beaulieu and catcher Bethany Neal saved the game for Monmouth (8-2), making key defensive plays in the sixth inning when Madison (6-5) threatened with runners on second and third with one out. The Mustangs held on under pressure, a good sign with playoffs lurking just around the corner.
Jessica Hayden led the Bulldogs with a triple, while Britt Lichtensels was saddled with the loss.
Livermore Falls 20, Boothbay 2
BOOTHBAY – Whitney McDaniel hurled five innings of one-hit softball Wednesday while her teammates brought the hot bats as Livermore Falls waltzed away with a 20-2 victory over Boothbay.
Jayde Purrington led the Andies (5-7) with two hits and three RBIs, while Brittany Souther contributed with one hit and scored three runs. Chelsie Morrison had quite a streak going, with five runs scored in five trips to the plate.
Elaina Peters went the distance for the winless Seahawks (0-11) and was tagged with the loss.
Hall-Dale 6, Lisbon 1
LISBON – Danielle Breault and Lindsey Nyitray each had RBI singles for Hall-Dale, who beat Lisbon 6-1.
Colby Houdlette had the only extra base hit of the game.
For Lisbon, Christy McAullife scored the lone run off a single in the first inning.
Winslow 8, Oak Hill 4
WINSLOW – Katie Caron slugged a three-run home run in the sixth inning to seal the game and lift Winslow to an 8-4 victory over Oak Hill.
Oak Hill (7-3) had cut the lead to 5-4 in the fifth before Caron’s blast.
Cadie Rodrigue hit a two-run homer in the second for Oak Hill. Becca Roberts had two hits, including a triple, while Becca Belaire hit a double. Brittany Wood tossed a six-hitter and struck out four.
Jill Small added a solo home run for Winslow (9-1).
Cony 3, Edward Little 1
AUGUSTA – Emlyn Perry had a pair of hits as Cony slipped past Edward Little and recorded a 3-1 victory.
Jasmin Trott and Mike Wilson shared pitching duties, combining for eight strikeouts for the Rams (10-2).
The lone Edward Little run was scored off a home run in the third inning by Alyssa Levesque. Emily Grund smacked a double for the Eddies (4-8).

Edward Little 15, Camden Hills 10
AUBURN – Kirsten Prue netted eight goals to help propel Edward Little to a 15-10 win over Camden Hills.
Karen Leary notched five goals, while Carmen Lasagna and Katie Williamson each had a goal a piece for the Eddies (4-5).
Camden was paced by Maggie McGraw with eight goals, and Megan Bauer and Monica Doucette each with one.
