“Experience is the best teacher.”

There can’t be too many people who have not heard that expression and deny the wisdom in it.

In these troubled times, it is so important that Maine has experienced and knowledgeble representation in Augusta. I feel that Margaret Craven has the qualifications that make her an outstanding candidate to be our next senator from Lewiston.

Unfortunately Sen. Peggy Rotundo has reached her term limits so she is no longer in the running, but Craven, even though she is still eligible to run again for representative, is eligible. She has outstanding credentials, having served on the Health and Human Services Committee as well as on Appropriations.

It is so important that she has this expert knowledge to use in serving the elderly, the mentally and physically handicapped, our teachers and our veterans.

Rep. Margaret Craven will be an outstanding Sen. Margaret Craven.
