Barack Obama is the wrong choice for president. It was a horrible thing for Obama to make excuses for the Rev. Wright. The language and word choice was unacceptable for somebody of such high standards.
The fact Obama made Wright look like a hero made the whole matter worse. I believe this will affect Obama and, if the people of the United States care about who their president is, they will not vote for him.
Obama does not measure up to be president. He talks of Wright as his mentor, but condemns the anti-American statements Wright has preached.
Obama belongs to a black Christian church. That is not the problem. The problem is the church’s pastor has disturbing views about this country. Wright is a strong speaker like Obama. It seems strange that Obama would not know his pastor’s views after belonging to the church for 20 years.
Wright was a Marine. Serving this country is admirable, but his harsh words about our country are not.
Obama has shown some good qualities during his campaign. He has some qualities a president needs. He is a great public speaker and has brought together a vast amount of supporters. He has excited the younger people of America about politics. He is motivated to improve America.
Obama made a mistake by supporting the Rev. Wright.
That is a conflict for him and I believe it will affect his chance for the presidency.
