WEST PARIS – The West Paris Historical Society will hold a baked bean and casserole supper at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, as part of Old Home Days.

Cost will be $7 for adults and $3 for age 12 and under. It is one of the society’s largest fundraising events of the year.

From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 15, the society will join with the Friends of the Library and present Jerome Pieisler, author of “All Hands Down,” a book about the submarine “Scorpion” lost at sea. For more information on either event, call Betty Jones at 674-2507.

Also on Saturday and Sunday the Great Falls Modern Railroad will be in the Grange Hall, presented by Beth and Jeff Chaffee. For more information on that, call Beth at 890-8420.
