The Peru Section of the Oxford County Extension Homemakers held its Homemakers’ spring basket raffle at Mrs. B’s Store, Main Street. The raffle is a fundraiser for the Peru Homemakers to support local charities. Various nursing homes, animal care shelters and needy individuals have been assisted in the past year. Raffle winner was Anna Saar of Turner. Seated next to the basket is Carol Bernard, owner of Mrs. B’s Store.
