ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – A dog that had been missing for 17 days in Rochester, is home safe, after turning up as a wedding crasher.
Beau, a Newfoundland-Rottweiler mix, disappeared this month while staying at a kennel. He was seen a few times during the 17 days, but it was not until Saturday, when he showed up at a wedding, that he stuck around long enough to be reunited with his owners.
Adding to the unlikely story, one of the bartenders at the reception – Bonnie O’Shea – owns the kennel and had spent much of the previous three weeks trying to find the dog.
Beau ended up stealing the show at the reception, and posed for pictures with many guests.
