CASCO – The Raymond-Casco Historical Society has announced the grand opening of its new museum at Watkin’s Farm, Route 302, South Casco. A dedication ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 27. Refreshments and a program will follow.
Events leading up to the grand opening will include a members’ and friends’ reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 19, followed by an appraisal night from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, both at the museum.
Antique dealer Harry Hepburn III of Harrison will be on hand to evaluate items. Hepburn is the owner of Hermitage Antiques. He has served as an appraiser for the courts, insurance companies and individuals since 1977. He is well known for repairing antique clocks, which he has been doing since 1968.
