AUBURN – Brian Crane pitched 5 1/3 innings and combined with Cam Cormier in a 3-0 shutout of Winslow as the Auburn Suburban Little League 11-12 baseball all-stars continued their tournament run.

Strong defense by Ian Mileikis, Luke Sterling, Issac Lane and Brandon Dubuc backed up the two hurlers. Corey Henderson homered and Mickey Lawernce and Elijah Moresheadadded key hits for Auburn. Dylan Hapworth pitched for Winslow, with hitting support from Jamo White, Aaron Lint and Gabe Smith.

The game was twice delayed by lightning.

Crane and catcher Lawrence cut a runner down at the plate attempting to steal to protect the shutout.

Mike Hammond drew a key walk in advance of Henderson’s home run.
