Connery Woods’ reusable bag poster was selected to be entered into the Hannaford Supermarket and Pharmacy State Contest. The poster was selected from more than 50 fifth-grade contestants from the River Valley schools. Five states will select a winner to go on to an overall contest. The five winners will win a field trip for their class to meet a local farmer. The overall winning design will become a reusable bag sold in Hannaford stores in 2009.
