LEWISTON – A benefit concert for Gary St. Hilaire, who was attacked in Lewiston in June, will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at the C&J Hall. Performing will be the tribute heavy metal band Taste of Metal.
St. Hilaire, 44, was beaten with an ice chopper June 9 near Bartlett and Walnut streets. He was hospitalized at Central Maine Medical Center with severe injuries to the brain.
C&J Hall is at 711 Webster St. Doors will open at 8 p.m. Cover is $10.
There will be a cash bar. Attendees are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the premises. All proceeds will go toward the Gary St. Hilaire fund.
