SUMNER – The Congregational Church of East Sumner will not have vacation Bible school this summer. Sunday school will start at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14. For more information, call Cynthia Norton at 388-2667.

Yard sale

OXFORD – His Place Teen Center will hold a yard sale through Wednesday, Aug. 13, on Route 26 next to the fish market. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Alpha & Omega Thrift Shop, 39 Brown St., will also have a sale at the same time, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
