On Aug. 1, on the Business page, there was a terrific Newhouse News Service article with the headline “Plug-in hybrids get free fill-ups.” Problem is, it was on the back page of section B when it should have, at least, begun on the front page of section A.

The Sun Journal missed an opportunity to take the lead in not bringing this important matter to the attention of the public. How many people knew about the electrical outlet Portland (Ore.) General Electric unveiled in 1996 at its downtown headquarters?

I’m just glad that I went all the way through that paper and found that very important news article.
