MEXICO – Recent incidents covered by the Mexico Police Department include:

Arrests

• Robert Heath, 25, Swett Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear on an operating under the influence charge, at 2 p.m., July 27, at Swett Avenue. He was bailed from the Mexico Police Department on $10,000 surety. No court date was available.

• Eric Hanson, River Road, domestic assault, at 3:06 p.m. July 26. He was released from the Mexico Police Department on $300 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 9.

Vandalism

A Highland Terrace resident reported at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 8 that several political signs had been destroyed during the previous couple of days from a Richards Avenue address.

Theft

Gasoline was stolen from the Dead River Food Trend on Main Street, when a vehicle with Connecticut registration plates left the station at 10:41 a.m. Aug. 12 without paying $18.83.
