OXFORD – The Boxberry School has hired Samantha Armstrong of Norway as Green Room teacher for grades K-2 beginning in September.
Armstrong has been living in the Oxford Hills area for the past seven years. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston with a bachelor of fine arts degree in metals.
As an artist, she has exhibited throughout the United States, as well as in Germany. After moving to Maine, she began teaching special education in the Lake Region School District.
She has worked as a counselor, taking children on trips on the Allagash River and through the White Mountains.
