Dear Sun Spots: I love your column as you’ve helped so many people. Hopefully you can help me. I live in a mobile home and have central air. We’ve had it for quite a few years and never have had it serviced.

I tried to find someone to come and service it , but I didn’t have any luck. Everyone I talked to only does it commercially, not for single homes. If you or anyone out there knows of anyone, I would appreciate it if you could let me know who to call. Thanks. – Lori, Monmouth.

Answer: Although we located a few businesses who provide this service, Sun Spots was unable to locate anyone who travels to your area. We urge anyone who can help to contact the column.

Dear Sun Spots: Recently Channel 6 TV carried an interview with Brenda Vallee, owner of the Village Inn Restaurant.

They are in the process of renovating the old restaurant and will be open as soon as renovations are complete. I know a lot of people have been curious about this. – Faithful reader, No town.

Answer: We also spoke with Vallee in July, and she noted that a lot of demolition has been done inside, which will allow for a new look in the entryway. They are also working on the outside grounds. The community anxiously awaits their return!

Dear Sun Spots: Regarding the inquiry from D.L. about the glass nail file, I was wondering if perhaps Lily Pads may be the answer. Joni Ames is the contact name and phone number is (207) 351-2517. She doesn’t list the glass nail file, but she does have a Ruby Crystal File.

Also I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get three 55-gallon empty drums to be used to practice barrel racing and 4 foot orange safety cones for a reasonable price. I have checked on new ones, but too much money. Call 524-2006 – Deb, Leeds.

Answer: Sun Spots tried to reach Joni Ames at the submitted telephone number and found that it has been disconnected. Perhaps other readers are aware of this business and have updated information.
