DOVER, N.H. (AP) – Two Massachusetts men charged with conspiracy to commit murder in a Dover, N.H., man’s death have been arraigned in a Massachusetts court.

Forty-year-old Scott Mazzone and 25-year-old Derek Saunders, both of Byfield, are charged with plotting to murder 46-year-old David King. King was killed Friday.

Massachusetts police arrested Mazzone and Saunders on Sunday. They were arraigned Tuesday and face a return court date of Sept. 17.

King worked as a handyman and shared his home with his girlfriend, Dianne Saunders, and her two young daughters. Associate Attorney General Ann Rice said Derek Saunders is Dianne Saunders’ former stepson.
