NORWAY – Sunday, Sept. 7, will be a busy day for the Second Congregational Church. Church family, friends, neighbors and visitors are invited to attend.

The Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Main St., will resume its fall and winter schedule on Sunday, with church school registration at 9 a.m. and a pancake breakfast for children and their parents.

Worship, under the direction of the Rev. Leslie Foley in the stained glass sanctuary, will begin at 10 a.m. Organist Elaine Emery and the vocal choir, under the direction of Shirli Allen Heald, will also return from its summer vacation.

Church school classes for ages 3 to 18 will be held at 10 a.m. A nursery staffed by professional childcare workers will be available for infants and toddlers. Following services, there will be a traditional coffee and fellowship hour.

The church is a member of the United Church of Christ. All are welcome. Worship and church school are held every Sunday at 10 a.m. For more information, call the church office at 743-2290 between 9 a.m. and noon Monday through Thursday.
