I was always taught, both in school and again in college, that since the vice president was expected to take over immediately in case something happens to the president, he or she should have basically the same requirements, experience and knowledge as the person they are replacing.

Sarah Palin received most of her experience as mayor of a small, backwater town of 5,500 people – Wasilla. It’s about 40 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska. I couldn’t find it on my road map of the U.S.

I’m sure our founding fathers would roll over in their graves if they were aware of this amazing political blunder.
