THRONDIKE – Freshman forward Bryan Soucy scored the game-clincher in a circuitous effort as Oak Hill grabbed a 3-2 victory over Mt. View in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday.

With 1:09 remaining in the contest and the Raiders (3-1-1) knotted up at 2-2, Soucy struck with a hard shot from 18-yards out that deflected off the goalie’s leg and into the net. Adam Soucy scored the Raider’s first goal on a direct kick that sailed into the upper right corner of the cage.

Goalie Nick Knight made six saves for Mustangs, while freshman Glenn Allen turned back nine shots to earn the win in goal for Oak Hill.

Messalonskee 1, Mt. Blue 0

OAKLAND – Messalonskee senior Jake Erskine intercepted a pass at midfield and fired a shot in the upper right corner to give Messalonskee a 1-0 victory over Mt. Blue in a battle of KVAC unbeatens on Friday.

Cameron Omsberg led a stellar defensive effort for the Eagles (6-0), while Andrew Wilson deflected three shots to preserved the shutout.

Zac Conlogue anchored the Cougars (5-1) defense and Devin Zamboni turned aside four shots in the loss.

Mt. Abram 1, Lisbon 0

LISBON – Dimitri Popovic converted a feed from Phelan Barry 2:20 into the first half to give Mt. Abram a 1-0 MVC victory over Lisbon.

Keeper Sam Simpson registered five saves to secure the shutout for the Roadrunners (4-1-1).

Derek Lycette had five saves for the Greyhounds (5-1).

Liv. Falls 1, Hall-Dale 0

LIVERMORE FALLS – Junior striker Jake Ouellette scored the only goal to lift Livermore Falls to a 1-0 victory over Hall-Dale in MVC boys’ soccer action Friday.

Ouellette scored only two-and-a-half minutes into the game for the Andies (3-1-2). He picked up the ball during a scramble in close and found the back of the net for the lone goal.

Taylor Mannix made six saves for the Bulldogs (3-3), while Willie Brown turned back five shots for the Andies.
