The Repeat Offenders, a jam band performing original music, has recorded its first E.P. at Music Center Studios in Topsham. The band’s next (21-plus) show will be at 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at the Sea Dog Brewing Co., also in Topsham. Repeat Offenders is also scheduled to play at that venue on Halloween, Oct. 31. Together for about five months, the band is made up of Nick Racioppi of Auburn, lead vocals and plays guitar; Ben Williamson, lead guitar and vocals; Byron Malcolm, bass; and James Sheller, drums. Each member pens songs, but the primary songwriter is Racioppi. They draw on bands like Sublime and Red Hot Chili Peppers for inspiration.
