FARMINGTON – Novelist M.P. Barker will be at the Farmington Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, to discuss her historical novel, “A Difficult Boy.” The book published by Holiday House is about the stormy relationship between two young indentured servants and their struggle to escape their master’s abuse in 19th century New England.

The event is free and open to the public.
