MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – A Manchester, N.H., man has been convicted of murder for beating another man in the city more than three years ago with a baseball bat.

The Hillsborough County Superior Court jury deliberated more than 2 1/2 days before finding 19-year-old Robinson Garcia guilty on Friday of second-degree murder and three counts of riot. It was Garcia’s second trial after an earlier one in June ended in a mistrial because of juror misconduct.

Forty-one-year-old Stephen Raymond was left a quadriplegic after he was attacked by a group of youths in August 2005. He lived for 10 months before dying in a Florida nursing home.
