Many people ask me why, as a lifelong Democrat, I am voting for McCain/Palin. The primary reason is because they are fighting for the lives of the unborn.

As a Christian I feel that people have a responsibility to protect those innocent lives because they don’t have a voice to do so for themselves.

Sen. McCain has a solid record of doing what he felt was right for the American people, even going against his own party to stand for what is right.

Sen. Obama has less than one term in the Senate which was primarily spent furthering his own political career. His stance on abortion is appalling, even supporting laws as state senator to prevent doctors from treating babies which survive an abortion attempt.

There are many reasons to vote for John McCain, but preserving the sanctity of life is the main reason for me.
