LEWISTON – Lewiston made a statement, Edward Little rebounded, and, in a stunner, Leavitt lost to pesky Morse.

It was a pivotal week all over the place, as Dirigo remained unbeaten, and Winthrop posted its fourth straight shutout, setting up next week’s battle of the unbeatens.

Jay stumbled, and now has to basically win out and pray to make the playoffs.

In a big out-of-region game, Deering came back to beat Bonny Eagle, leaving the Scots with two losses.
