This is a new year, I am in the eighth grade. How many times in your life do you get another chance at a new beginning? Not many! Only as a child do we get a new beginning. It’s a new year to be able to leave last year’s school grades and any bad things that may have happened behind us. To leave behind the fights we may have had with our friends, or things that may have made us feel uneasy about the school year. Now is a chance to start fresh.

I am enjoying the school year so far. But I miss being home- sleeping in, or just lying in the grass watching the birds fly by, or just being with my family. This is a time for us, as kids, to have a chance at a new beginning. Have a great year everyone and remember it’s a new beginning for all of us.
