Courtney Erskine, Leavitt

All season when the Hornets needed a goal, Erskine seized the moment. Erskine scored twice in a 5-0 victory over Rockland, then added another goal in Friday’s 2-0 KVAC Class B championship win over Nokomis.

Both are likely playoff-bound teams battling for positioning in their respective classes.

Lewiston at Mt. Ararat, 6 p.m.

The Blue Devils typically give the Eagles a pretty good battle. Mt. Ararat was the top seed in Eastern A while Lewiston was ranked 10th and could use the boost in the standings.

Fryeburg at St. Dom’s, 3:30 p.m.

The Saints are chasing a playoff berth in Western C. The points in a win over the Class B Raiders could help that cause.

Sacopee Valley at Poland, 3:30 p.m.

Poland hopes to secure a tourney berth in Western B while Sacopee Valley is in the hunt for a spot in Western C. Both teams could use this win.
