I am taking this opportunity to express what a dedicated, worthy candidate Belinda Gerry is. She is running for state representative in the Nov. 4 election. She is qualified and ready to serve, as she served three terms as state representative from 1994 to 2000.

With so many issues facing the state and local level, she is able to hit the ground running due to not needing to be trained for the Legislature.

She has served three terms on the Auburn City Council, Ward 5, from 2000-2006. Serving on the state and local level is a great asset to her attributes.

She has never missed a legislative session day. She is, truly, a committed, dedicated and hard-working candidate.

I hope others will join me in support of Belinda Gerry when they vote on Nov. 4.
