Sen. Susan Collins has been an excellent senator for Maine and the nation. She is ranking member and former chairman of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee and also serves on the Armed Services Committee and the special committee on aging.

I have had the privilege of knowing Sen. Collins and Washington has not changed her. Collins’ commitment to Maine is exemplary. She has served 12 years in Washington and has never missed a roll call vote, casting 3,892 consecutive votes. Sen. Collins and Sen. Olympia Snowe rank the highest in the Senate for bipartisanship. Collins has a proven record of outstanding constituent service.

I will proudly cast my vote for Sen. Susan Collins for independent and effective leadership.
