AUBURN – On Monday, Nov. 3, A&D Electric will be replacing the traffic lights at the intersection of Minot Avenue and High Street. Traffic will be closed on High Street at Academy Street and detoured to Elm Street. Minot Avenue traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Businesses along High Street will remain open for local access. To avoid any traffic delays and detours, please seek alternate routes.

Book sale

AUBURN – The Friends of the Auburn Public Library will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the library, 49 Spring St. Books will be offered at $1 for hardcovers, 50 cents to $1 for paperbacks, and 25 cents to 50 cents for children’s books.

Popular fiction, biographies, romance, nonfiction, and audio books will all be available. A handful of special books will be held aside for a special price.
