LITCHFIELD – Maine children’s author, Sarah P. Gibson of Chebeague Island, will visit Carrie Ricker Middle School in Litchfield on Friday, Nov. 14, from 8-10 a.m. to promote her new book, “The Truth About Horses,” “Friends,” and “My Life as a Coward.”

Gibson will bring a therapeutic miniature horse with her for a hands-on presentation for grades four through six, showing the process of how to turn real-life stories into fiction.
