I just read the writeup in the Sun Journal that had comments by Pat LaMarche, spokesperson for the casino referendum that was voted down Nov. 4.

Her comment was that “The state of Maine really missed the boat when they voted down this project.”

LaMarche made a catastrophic mistake when she signed onto “the boat.” Before she boarded, she should have gone to either the bow or the stern of the boat and read the name. She “signed on” to the Titanic.
