WELLS – The wedding of Ashley Sebesta and Jeffrey Smith was held at 4:30 p.m. on May 25 in an outdoor ceremony at Village by the Sea in Wells.

Mrs. Smith is the daughter of Lisa and Michael Costello of Monmouth and Lane Sebesta and Laurie Hancock of Waynesville, N.C. Mr. Smith is the son of Brenda Smith of Auburn, Kirk Smith of Norfolk, Va., and Eugene and Joyce Paradis of Chelsea.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Lane Sebesta. A sister of the bride, Katea Sebesta, served as maid of honor, and Cami Smith, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Robert Sparks, best friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Cade Jarvis, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Village by the Sea, after which the couple traveled to Negril in Jamaica.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Monmouth Academy and attended the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed at TD Banknorth in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is employed at Maine Oxy in Auburn.
