AUBURN – David J. Wilson, 59, of East Bates Street, Auburn, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, Nov. 15, after a brief illness.

He was born in Lewiston, on Oct. 29, 1949, a son to the late Raymond and Betty (Marshall) Wilson. He was educated in local schools and after graduation joined the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed contractor and enjoyed woodworking.

He leaves a daughter, Daveline Francis of Texas; a son, David Wilson of Jackman; four sisters, Lorna Letourneau of Oxford, Linda Visco of Auburn, Laurel Poliquin of Oxford and Lisa Wilson of Rome; and a very dear friend and roommate, Don Perkins.
