LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Landlords Association will sponsor a program on how the Maine Human Rights Act affects landlords at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Knights of Columbus Hall on East Avenue.

The program will cover fair housing provisions, housing applicant inquiries (legal and illegal), unlawful housing harassment and how to prevent claims.

Effective Oct. 27, the Maine Human Rights Commission revised its guidance on Service Animals in Housing and Public Accommodations, and that guidance will also be discussed.
