BOOTHBAY HARBOR – The wedding of Karyn Grimaldi and Joseph Agosto was held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor. The Rev. Alfred Irving officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Agosto is the daughter of Marco and Nancy Grimaldi of Jay. Mr. Agosto is the son of Julio and Joanne Agosto of Ridgefield, N.J.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white silk shantung gown, off the shoulder, with rucking on the bodice and a bubble hem. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses, Calla lilies, mums and dahlias.

A sister of the bride, Beth Grimaldi, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Grimaldi, Kara Boone, Joanna Bursch, Erica Grimaldi, Marybeth Libonate, Laura Hoffmann, Erica Vaglica, Stephanie Sauter and Julie Levasseur.

Best men were Kurt Ebneter, best friend and Christopher Moran, cousin. Ushers were Paul Cordts, Edward Barsuk, Robert Stern, Michael Grimaldi, Jeffrey Wagner and Charles Moran.

A reception followed at Newagen Seaside Inn in Southport Island, after which the couple traveled to Belize.

The bride is a graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., and is senior account executive at PointRoll Online Technology.

The bridegroom is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., and is owner of JAG Health and Fitness.
