LIMESTONE (AP) – The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is getting top marks from a new ranking of America’s best schools.

U.S. News & World Report this week released its 2009 list of the nation’s top 100 high schools.

The Maine School of Science and Mathematics, a public magnet school located in Limestone, was ranked the 12th best school.

To compile the list, U.S. News analyzed academic and enrollment data from more than 21,000 public high schools.
