Butterflies mean many different things to me. When I first think of butterflies, I think of an insect. You know, the cute bug that has elaborate wings with neon colors on them, and that fly around you in a field. They can be so beautiful to look at. And then there is the other meaning, when someone mentions butterflies. I also think about the sick feeling you get in your stomach when you’re excited. Like for an example, waiting for the bell to ring so that you can go home and start the weekend or when the boy you like looks at you in the hallway and smiles at you.

Both meanings of butterflies can bring such joy and happiness to anyone.
