LIVERMORE FALLS – Sophomore center Marissa Welch notched a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead Livermore Falls to a 48-39 victory over Dirigo in MVC girls’ basketball action Friday evening.

The Andies (2-1) played strong and angressive on defense, taking a two-point lead at the half, 24-22.

Junior guard Jane Hebert was a power-house for the Cougars (2-1), making six field goals, including two from 3-point range. She recorded 16 of Dirigo’s 39 points in the losing effort.
