The Vineyard Christian School’s seventh, eighth and ninth grades went to the Good Shepherd Food Pantry in Auburn to help out. What they did there was sort and compress boxes to get them ready to be checked and sorted into holding. Usually about two volunteers do this task.

With about 34 kids all helping out, it went a lot faster. We didn’t get it all done, but we did get to do a lot of boxing! It was hard work, but we didn’t mind doing community service. The two original workers on the job could go home a lot earlier, and they probably liked that.
